Today is it

Today is the day I start my journey.  I've wasted too much time over the years on fad diets and crazy schemes.  I've let good habits fly out the window and replaced them with habits that leave me tired, overweight, and grumpy.   I'm in a new phase of my life and I'm excited to get back on track.  This is my first attempt at blogging and I'm hoping it will be a fun way for me journal about my weight loss journey.   I'm aiming to lose about 75 pounds and am ready to get started.  My journey is more than just wanting to lose weight and fit into clothes that I want to wear.  I miss the days when I could go out and run and not feel like I was dying...or when I could keep up with my husband and kids... I love to exercise and it's just not as much fun with all this excess weight.  I want to be healthy and strong and have the energy to do what I want and/or need to do.   I've found my personality has changed also over the years and I'm hoping to throw out the negative and bring back the positive.  I'm so ready to do this and I look forward to sharing my progress and learning from so many others who blog about weight and health!    Thanks for stopping by!
